Albert is a portly middle-aged man, with greying hair and a bald spot. He keeps his face shaved and his scholarly robes clean.

He has been attempting to develop a theory of mind and spirit, and in the process has discovered just how complicated and difficult to test this subject-matter is. His writings are loaded with “big words” and a variety of neologisms invented to cover concepts that don't quite fit into normal language.

Despite the impenetrability of his nascent works on psychology and the nature of mind/body/spirit interaction, he has actually made some progress towards useful understanding.

The philosophical nature of his research gives him some insight into reification as well.
