A place with very active geology and supernatural influences naturally has a landscape that can change quite often. The Cartographer's Guild is only a few people but keeps busy with people commissioning newly-made maps of the area.
The guild itself is of course just a few people, but they regularly hire laborers, wilderness guides, pack-animals, and other specialists as needed for projects.
