The Pit (Of Knowledge)

Former three-story manor, refurbished into private apartments to be rented out to a collection of students who can afford them. The rental spaces are not especially large but are private with lockable doors a couple of small rooms, and the building is well-maintained. Eight spaces for rent, with a couple of rooms for the proprietor and caretakers.

There's an ordinary but well-equipped and maintained kitchen space that renters can “subscribe” to meals from, and visitors can buy meals if there is any surplus.

A small garden in the back grows a variety of culinary herbs and ornamental plants.
